Thanks again to everyone who participated in our first series of Craft Distilling Appreciation Classes. More than twenty spirits enthusiasts in two different tracts learned about the ins-and-outs of craft and small-batch distilling at New Deal Distillery, Stone Barn Brandyworks, and House Spirits. Tastings, including samples at different points in the distilling process (heads or tails everyone?) were shared throughout, along with explanations as to why and how the flavors came to be at that point. Tiki drinks were sampled at Deco (now Eastside Distilling) at the end of the first Sunday session. And the whole event finished with a stellar range of hand-made cocktails at House Spirits. If you missed this first set of classes, don’t worry we will definitely be offering them again!
